Ontwikkelaar Harmonix heeft tijdens een presentatie op PAX East bekend gemaakt dat de Rock Band en Dance Central franchises terug zullen kuren op de nieuwe generatie consoles. Wanneer en hoe dit zal gebeuren, kon CEO Alex Rigopulos helaas niet zeggen.

“[The Rock Band and Dance Central franchises] are near and dear to our hearts and our minds,” Rigopulos said. “And we have grand plans to bring back both of them with guns blazing at some point in the coming console cycle.”

Het is al een tijdje stil geweest omtrent de Rock Band en Dance Central franchise. De laatste Rock Band game –  Rock Band Blitz – verscheen in 2012.

Misschien dat we meer informatie op de komende E3 zullen horen. We houden je op de hoogte!
